The best thing about where we live is our garden. The french doors open to our south facing piece of green, and we all love it! Come rain or shine Beth can be found outside digging, watering, playing, picking flowers, and giggling. She has made “garden ” friends and our neighbors are all very accommodating. Although, they think we are a band of hippies! We have bunting, fruit and veg growing, none of us have shoes on, and plant bedding made from scaffold wood we found in the street. It is quite funny. The other Mothers that live in our area can’t understand why I carry Arthur in a sling, and they always ask why Beth’s balance bike has no peddles. The regular site of reusable nappies drying on the line outside rises an eyebrow, and whenever a child has stung themselves on a nettle leaf I am at hand with Lavender oil or Arnica cream for bruises. But aside from this, everyone we have met have been really welcoming and warm to us.
